A very warm THANK YOU to all those who gathered to help us commemorate 20 years since 9/11 and two years since the Peregian fires. Peregian Family & Friends raised over $55,000 for the future re-building of the Peregian Surf Club thanks to our 160 generous supporters on the night, sponsors and businesses who donated from the bottom of their hearts and event partners who offered discounts on their normal rates to enable us to include them in the night.
A big thanks also to our guest speaker Rob Frey (Noosa Fire Station Officer, below) for his memories of fighting the Peregian fires in 2019, it truly took everyone at the event back to that night. All our emergency services professionals and volunteers are deeply appreciated, and the event gave us an opportunity to celebrate them.
THOSE WHO MADE IT ALL POSSIBLE!
We can’t speak highly enough of all the people and businesses that made it all possible. Please support them if you can as they have supported our community and surf club:

✨ Venue by TIPI LUXE, styling by Mask Events Australia, sound by AV Partners, PR by Q Advertising, flowers by LaBouquet Florist, auctions by Ray White’s Taylor Sierp – Ray White Sunshine Coast – Real Estate Agent.
✨ Two wonderful local musicians – Jay Bishoff & band & Mark Maroney performed for us.
✨ A 2019 Peregian Fires photography exhibition from Wavell Bush, whose photos graced the front covers of the paper after the fires.
✨ Cocktails and ginger beer from the always supportive Diablo Co, local legends.

✨ All the Peregian businesses which donated to our Peregian online auctions and to the hampers. The comment from one of the lucky winners of these hampers was:
“Just a short note to express my appreciation as a winner of one of the magnificent baskets that were raffled. The contents of my basket truly exceeded my expectations. I am very excited with the variety of vouchers and products as well as their value.
Thank you to your sponsors for their generosity and to your team for their time and effort.
Kindest regards
Allison”
